The interviewer was friendly, however, the interview was not structured. The interviewer didn't ask me to run through my CV, which I suppose would have been quite basic. Questions were asked only about what the interviewer was keen on, so this lacked a full understanding of my profile, which could potentially be suited for the role. I didn't get to share some of the projects I would have liked to. They focused more on technical skills than on me as a person, my adaptability, and my willingness to learn, even if I showed that in the process. So, just a heads-up on that.
Personally, I feel a little sad about it because I always impress in the work I do at companies I join. I wouldn't have minded taking a more junior role at Amazon just to learn and develop further, but it is what it is.
