Pros

Teams with tech engineering leadership are sane.

Best place to work for the right team if you want to learn and grow in your career.

Cons

During Covid, a lot of non-tech folks started building empires to become managers and directors.

Some L7 and L8 leaders are literally useless and don't let the tech leaders improve the org structure and deliverables, leading to eventual downfall.

Not an employee-friendly company.

Advice to Management
  1. Remove non-tech people from tech leadership roles.

  2. Remove L7/L8 leaders that were busy building empires rather than focusing on either generating revenue, saving costs, or improving the Amazon experience.

  3. Remove the unwanted L reporting to L8 chain, as it is not productive for the company.
