There are periods during the year where you feel very overworked.
On-call can be a nuisance to your personal life depending on the team and management priorities.
Continue to focus on making on-call as non-intrusive as possible. Give us more vacation.
It's kind of crazy how you can be hired in as an SDE 3 or Principal based off of an hour and a half of interviews, while the internal bar for being promoted is extremely high. I'd recommend changing that if you value long-term retention of SDE 2s.
