Amazon has grown a lot over the past 5 to 10 years. It is not the same place it used to be. The leadership principles that guide the company are not as prevalent or as well understood as they used to be, thus they are not as useful as they used to be. There is a lot of pressure to deliver, and velocity is expected to increase over time.

Sr. Software Development Manager
The interview process was standard for a FAANG company. I also completed a writing assignment. The recruiter did a good job of setting expectations. The interview followed the leadership principles well.
SWE Intern
They just asked behavioral questions. It was an overall good experience, not hard at all. Don’t expect much difficulty in the interview process; don’t stress it. I am lying; I just want to see interviews. I didn’t interview at Amazon.

LeetCode style coding questions, mostly easy to medium. Any language is acceptable. At least one object-oriented question is planned, making Java a bit more convenient for that. More words, words, words, words.
