Pros

Work with amazing people.

Ability to shape people's shopping habits.

Easy to source internal information and connect with others.

Cons

Few managers have good emotional intelligence. The compensation model is unfavorable to employees. It's easier to boomerang and be promoted than stay. Too much time/energy is spent continually recruiting instead of retention.

Advice to Management

Invest more in employee retention (comp and benefits). Provide better structure for employee growth and development. Reduce time spent in ops meetings.
