Company does not appreciate employees. You will pretty much be stuck at the starting base salary.
Promotion is left up to the manager. If the manager wants to promote you, you can get promoted from L4 to L5 in 15 months, but otherwise, they can keep you at L4 for more than 3 years.
No benefits to begin with. Recently, they cut down on coffee.
Keep employees happy. I don't understand what managers get from keeping engineers at L4 for so long. It doesn't make sense.
