An engineer contacted me based on my technical blog.
I had a phone interview, then was flown out for a full interview. It was a pretty intense interview (I've been through an MS interview, too).
There were lots of people, and the interview was very focused on skills and knowledge, delivered in a really rapid-fire manner.
I was asked everything from database design to CSS questions.
I also had lunch with the hiring manager. They were smart folks.
Design a DB for Netflix
American flag CSS
JavaScript build system
General programming concepts (polymorphism, performance, MVC)
What kind of person are you? What kind of problems do you like to solve? etc.
