I had a phone screen years ago applying for a hardware job, but it turned out to be a mismatch for the current role. The overall experience was very good for exploring what I could contribute.

I went through three months of HR calls discussing various details about relocation and other matters. I was told I would have my interview within a week. Days later, I received a generic email stating that my skills did not match their expectations

Discussion with employer about my background, a bit of general technical questions, and a short live coding assignment to do there. General questions such as why I want to work there.
