Pros

AT&T has been good to me over the years, and there have been many opportunities to advance and learn new and exciting technologies. But...

Cons

While the days of employment for as long as you want it are gone, the ability to stay with this company is dwindling too.

Most of what you would think would be core to the business has now been outsourced or is in the process of being staged to move outside to contractors.

Even new software development is soon sent out.

It feels like you have to look for either a train that is coming down the track to squash you or a crocodile snapping at your behind.

"Sorry, it's just business."

Advice to Management

Treat your employees as people, not a resource.
