I applied to two positions (Java engineer and DevOps) and had one of the worst interview experiences:

• The process was too complex.
• There were eight interviews in total.
• I arrived for one interview, and no one appeared without prior notification. Their explanation was a "software issue."
• The internal organization was poor. I waited almost a month for invitations to the next interviews. Their explanation was initially "software issues," then the recruiter went on holiday without properly handing over responsibilities.
• There were three one-hour coding interviews. This felt like too much, as coding interviews have very little in common with everyday work, where problems are different and libraries exist for most algorithmic tasks.
• Some interviewers seemed close-minded and/or narcissistic. For example, they didn't want to hear how companies outside Atlassian solve problems.
• Despite spending so much time on interviews, I received no constructive feedback.

• A few simple algorithmic problems
• Write a console Snake game
• Given a class File(name, size, tags), compute some statistics on them (total size, top N tags, etc.)
• How would you design a CI/CD pipeline? (DevOps)
• Design a tagging service
• What do you do if you and your coworker disagree on something?
• What have you learned recently?
• How did you do architectural changes?
• How did you convince your team to...?
