Process
The interview process involved a total of four stages:
- Gate 1: Karak
- Gate 2: Coding and technical skills
- Gate 3: System design
- Gate 4: Managerial and values
Each round took one week to ten days to schedule and provide feedback. Later, I received a rejection email.
The sad reality was that after the Gate 3 (system design) round, the recruiter said the feedback was positive. After all interviews, I was rejected with the feedback, "This involved too many hints/guidance and still was not able to solve the problem in system design." As all this happened in December, the interview process took seven weeks.
I was jumpy during the system design interview, and the interviewer did not write notes properly. I don't understand what hints the interviewer gave me. I guess they are looking for "interview monkeys" from YouTube.
