One technical interview, 45 minutes long.
It started without an introduction. The questions asked were: "Design and Test Facebook." After 5-7 follow-up questions on testing, it moved to the coding part. The question was LeetCode Easy. Done! Then, there were follow-up questions on the code.
It went pretty well! But now comes the twist: I was left in a dangling situation for a month. No decision. I contacted the recruiter multiple times.
After about 20 days from the interview, I heard back: "You are neither rejected nor selected. On hold for the moment."
I waited 15-20 days more. I dropped a follow-up email again, and bang! Rejection!
How would you design and test Facebook?
