Pros: Decent compensation for the Toronto area, although not top of the line.
Good benefits.
Complex, impactful project with a lot of unknowns and growth opportunities.
Cons: Management not living up to the mission.
Little communication about the plans and direction.
Little to no time for team-scope planning, design, and implementation.
Trying to run without crawling.
Trying to run a start-up, but things have to go through upper management.
Any feedback you provide feels dismissed.
People cycling in and out.
No strong product team.
Discouraging that the stock plan got cut without a balancing of total compensation.
