The first technical interview is LeetCode-style. Be wary of HR or other communication that indicates otherwise.
It looks like other reviewers here share a similar experience.
This style of interviewing tests for memorization and puzzle-solving skills, while revealing very little about the interviewee's engineering ability.
I'm honestly disappointed, as I was impressed with Square up until that point.
