B-1 Program still in the dark ages...
Engineering • Current Employee
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States
January 20, 2014
Pros: Pay, 401K, vacation, location, facilities
Cons: Weak leadership. Lack of transparency. Lack of management accountability. Micromanaged. Using corrupt/broken data systems to track parts. Intentionally circumventing processes to cut corners, which results in subpar quality of product just to make delivery commitments to customers. Constant rework of products incurs additional costs, time, and reputation. Retaliation for speaking up.

Engineering • Current Employee

Cons: Politics is often discussed at work.

Don't get trapped by inept management
Engineering • Current Employee
Renton, Washington, United States
September 21, 2017
Pros: Good benefit. Good employee opportunities (when not going through a downturn).
Cons: Management talks out of both sides of their mouth. They refuse to be open with their employees about the future of the company and potentially employment in the area.
Some managers will support you through your career journey and not hold you back. Unfortunately, these managers are becoming exceptions and not the rule. Boeing continues to promote weak and inept leaders.
