Pros: Great Benefits Generally good people Decent Pay Not very stressful

Cons: It's easy to get comfortable if you aren't aggressive in your career development. It's hard to get promoted. Depending on where you are working, it will all be virtual, and most of the work you'll do won't transfer to other jobs, especially if it's your first job.

Pros: Huge company, therefore lots of opportunities to move teams and change up what you're working on. You don't have to work that hard; the bar is pretty low. Great health insurance, 401k match, and tuition reimbursement programs.

Cons: Really outdated culture in the factories. Racism and sexism are extremely prevalent, and everyone accepts it and doesn't try to fix it. Relatively low pay in Puget Sound, which is a very high COL area. As an engineer, you can get paid a lot more at other local companies, which is why top talent is leaving in droves.

Pros: - Fortune 500 Company - Plenty of opportunities to learn many different things, even outside of scope; just ask! - Promotes work safety, even for shop floor workers!

Cons: - Management sometimes makes questionable decisions. For example, system upgrades that seem more like "punishment" since you're losing maybe five good features just to gain one good one. - Workload fluctuates from time to time, which feels unstable. One moment, the workload might seem stale. The next day, you might find out you have a bunch of new items in your compliance, and they're all labeled as late items! - While culture values are promoted, they are not strictly enforced enough. Some people still take shortcuts that are simply the wrong answer.
