Pros: Working in the defense sector is rewarding. You get to contribute to cutting-edge technology, support the Air Force mission, meet pilots, and see the full product come together. Plus, the benefits are excellent.

Cons: There is noticeable favoritism and nepotism, which can be seen even in the organizational structure. It often feels like those with family connections are the ones who receive raises and promotions. Additionally, issues related to workplace culture, including bias, are present, which can make the environment challenging at times.

Pros: Sociopaths and thieves do very well here.

Cons: They will literally work you into an early grave. I was told I needed to do 2.5 full-time jobs when I came in. BGS does not want people who volunteer new ideas, or offer data different than what they very specifically asked for. That is seen as criticism and "How Dare You step out of your place." When an executive asks for new/different data, even when it's a non-emergency request, be afraid and drop everything. Rampant backstabbing and sabotage to keep your own job. When people get laid off, 99.9% do NO knowledge transfer. Management doesn't even want it. Dictionary definition of a toxic work environment.

Pros: Great benefits and flexibility with work schedule.

Cons: Feels hard to move up despite overachieving in current role.
