Discrepancies in expectations as a software dev working within BCA engineering. Promotions depend on you actually doing the next level's work for at least 1 year before getting promoted. The regulatory environment shapes a lot of work. A lot of teams are going back to 5 days in office.

Application Developer
One HR round. Basic OOP concepts and puzzles, also based on the CV. General HR questions where they try and confuse you. It was my first time, so I ended up panicking a lot and didn't answer much.
Engineer
This was for an entry-level role. STAR format, 5 questions. I was asked about experience and difficult/pressure situations. Besides the 5 STAR questions, a couple of yes/no questions were asked, e.g., "Have you ever used tool X?"
Software Engineer Intern
One phone screen and then one video interview technical round and then a call with the hiring manager. The phone screen was standard behavioral questions, and the technicals were easy LeetCode questions.
