Software Engineer Interview Experience - Netherlands

Process

At first, I applied and went through recruiting interviews, including a live coding interview. This involved a LeetCode Medium problem (BFS/DFS), "reconstruct the whole travel given a list of trips." After being ghosted, with all my emails ignored for three weeks, I was informed that the position had already been filled.

However, after a while, I was contacted by the recruiter who performed the initial screening call. She offered to put my CV under consideration for other positions.

I had to undergo a live coding interview again, as the recruiter stated the new team did not want to accept the results of the previous interview. The task was the same, which felt like an insane waste of time. After two weeks, I had a system design interview and a final interview consecutively. A couple of days later, I received an automated "unfortunately..." email from a no-reply address, not even from a recruiter. No feedback was shared. I wasted a couple of days to receive an automated email.
