Pros
  • Free 5-star hotel food with a wide selection
  • Incredibly friendly coworkers and colleagues
  • Competent managers
  • Excellent work-life approach: Crunching and overworking do not exist here.
Cons
  • We still don't know if Booking.com will be a remote-first or hybrid-first company.

  • Depending on your team, you may have to work on Perl codebases, although it is not my case.

  • The pay is undoubtedly the best in the area, but American companies will usually pay more if you are fully remote or in the US, of course.
