- Really talented and kind people to work with every day.
- Startup approach to work and endless opportunities to work on something interesting or new.
- Remote work with lots of flexibility to travel or come in.
Brex has baggage.
Which some people have been through so many changes that they are cynical.
Less of this post-layoff, and I see the intentional effort to help create more meaningful development opportunities, which needs to happen broadly.
You're on the right track. Don't lose what humbled your beginnings. Focus on people, people, people.

Software Engineer (Swe II)
Extreme and disorganized. The recruiter couldn’t get responses back from the hiring team for over a week at a time. The whole process took months on end. I ended up taking another offer.
Software Engineer
Very thorough and communicative, had an involved process covering everything from basics to complex methodologies and techniques. Everyone was knowledgeable and thorough. There were at least 4 rounds, including multiple coding questions.

The coding challenge revolved around building a filter with toggles, with data being supplied from a JSON file. It involved React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It was a bit tricky to finish within the 50-minute time limit.
