Pros

Wide variety of technologies, excellent pay, decent benefits, no micromanagement, and great potential for career development. Good amount of RSUs and a nice bonus.

Tier-one customers that are great to work with.

Cons

The big downside is that since the merger with Avago, there is uncertainty on the engineering level about the path forward. This means you never know when your job is determined redundant.

However, if you apply now and get an offer, you're likely in a much better position.

Advice to Management

Make sure the dust settles soon and communicate your goals for the different business units clearly so they can work effectively.
