The first round was a one-hour-long coding interview where I was asked to add a new feature to existing code.
The next step involved four 45-minute-long interviews back-to-back: system design, algorithms, coding, and behavioral.
They sent me some materials to read and code, like a day before the interview, but I completely missed that email. ;)
System design - as expected, nothing unusual; it was a discussion on how to solve a specific problem and explore various scaling options.
Algorithms - a geometry problem which I believe was NP-complete, so I was trying to figure out the best approach in those circumstances.
Coding - I was asked to extend existing code, kind of similar to the first step, but with perhaps more focus on performance.
Behavioral - regular questions, asking me to provide examples of how I approached X or Y.
Overall, it was a very good experience. I had some health issues, and there was no problem rescheduling. Everyone was very polite, helpful, and professional.
Design and scale up a server that will provide something like a streaming API.
