I interviewed in 2019. They initially stated it was a 3-4 week process, but it ultimately went on for over two months.

The first round was an online coding assessment, which was fairly easy and covered basic data structures and algorithms.

After three weeks, I was given a date and asked to provide a time-slot for the second and final round Skype interview. They also mentioned they would send a case study during the week of the interview for me to work on.

However, I received neither the case study nor a confirmation for the interview. Despite sending emails throughout that week, I received no response.

Two weeks later, the recruiter contacted me requesting job-specific details (visa status, salary expectations, etc.) and an updated resume. I submitted these, and again, there was no reply.

After repeatedly following up, the recruiter responded another week later with the same email, asking for the same details. I sent them once more and waited. There was still no response.

Two weeks after that, I emailed the recruiter again and finally received a reply stating they do not sponsor F1 students.

Had they informed me of this upfront, I would have understood. However, I was disappointed by the way I was treated. As an F1-OPT student, job searching is already quite stressful. Inviting someone for an interview and then having a no-show, without responding to emails, was very disappointing.
