Pros: Capgemini consults for a lot of major companies. You get to work alongside the direct employees of those companies, who are often very experienced and talented. You will be exposed to current best practices. So it can be a great learning environment for junior engineers.

Cons: Experience depends on the client you get assigned to. Also, I started out as remote, and then they started forcing RTO to the client office. So I quit and found a new job.

Pros: Good benefits. Many ways to grow.

Cons: A lot of unnecessary meetings and activities that take a lot of time from duties.

Pros: Solid resources for independent learning and upskilling. Foot in the door for early-career developers. Decent benefits: health, dental, vision, 401k matching, commuter.

Cons: Salary is half what it should be based on industry averages. Terrible communication from Capgemini management. You are pretty much on your own when not with a client. Beware of bait-and-switch tactics – it is unlikely that you will be working in the role that you applied for and instead pushed to learn whatever their clients need. The downside to being a good place for early career/fresh graduates is that you are often placed on inexperienced teams, which sets you up for a sink-or-swim scenario. Finally, despite being told how profitable the company is in internal emails, it is nearly impossible to get a raise. Many people have told me it's easier to quit and get rehired at a higher salary.
