I was quite disappointed with the selection process and management.

I arrived at the company for my interview at nearly 10:45 AM, before the mentioned time of 11:00 AM. It was a walk-in, so I knew it would take time, but the management there was not up to par.

Initially, they said there would be two rounds today. Then, they started interviews. Nearly 40 to 50 people came that day. Still, at 3 PM, they had interviewed only 10 to 15 people. After 3 PM, they introduced an aptitude test, which was not supposed to happen.

One of my friends had to take the aptitude test after the technical round, which was a poor decision. He cleared the technical round but was eliminated in the aptitude test.

After the aptitude test, I waited until 6 PM for my interview. The person conducting my interview seemed uninterested. He was in a hurry to go home, so he conducted the interview as a formality. He told me they needed someone with 4 years of experience for the lead position and thanked me for coming. After waiting a full day, he gave me hardly 4 to 5 minutes for the technical part.

My colleague, who works in the same company on the same project, cleared both rounds for the same position.

The interviewers were not clear about what they were looking for. Some said they needed only an ETL tester, while others said they needed someone with Unix and SQL as a team member, not a lead.

Overall, it was a pretty frustrating experience.
