Process

The entire interview process for this role was conducted remotely. It consisted of three phases:

  • Initial phone screen: A general overview of the role and a quick check of qualifications to ensure the role aligned with my expectations.
  • Coding challenge: This followed the phone screen. It was administered through CodeSignal, involving four problems within a 75-minute timeframe. I had practiced extensively on LeetCode, but I found CodeSignal's problems to be more unique in their wording and nuances. It's worth exploring this platform. I successfully solved three out of the four problems, but ran out of time before completing the fourth. I proceeded to the next round of interviews.
  • Power Day Interviews: This phase comprised four one-hour interview rounds, with a 15-minute break after the first two. The interviews covered coding, code analysis, system design, and behavioral questions.

Questions

A couple of LC easy and LC medium questions, then many behavioral and system design ones.
