The process was fairly straightforward and consisted of:
I found the code test interviewer to be arrogant. It was a closed-book code test, so they did not allow any documentation access. Their camera was turned off. In Python, they insisted that I should use floats to store money amounts, despite me sharing that this is not precise enough and that Decimal classes are used in industry for this reason. The interviewer did not listen and again insisted that floats are a better option. For context, I have three years of experience writing code that serves prices in 30 currencies used around the world.
After the on-site, they decided not to move forward. They asked for feedback from me, the candidate, and did not share any feedback on their side.
This was not a good experience as a candidate.
