Pros: An organized company with a lot to offer, cutting-edge technology, and tons of opportunity.
Cons: Reviews are cut-throat due to the sheer amount of engineers that are there.
Work-life balance is very team-/manager-dependent.
Teams compete for work and will always try to outshine others.
Endless amounts of red-tape.

We are so short of hands

Pros: Good culture, good benefits. Some talented coworkers.
Cons: Very high rollover rate. The reason should be that compensation is far below peers, especially big tech. While people are leaving, their work is transferred to the rest of the engineers, which creates a bad cycle: the work spirit gets worse, and the remaining engineers feel more unfair and miserable and also plan to leave. Those working on interviews couldn't pay enough attention to their work. Work can't make much progress as too many dependencies can't be done in time.
