Pros

Excellent work/life balance.

Ability to work from home frequently.

Opportunities to travel if you want.

Good salary and benefits for the Richmond area.

Cons

Digital team leadership is lacking in people skills. Projects do not follow standard software development practices, resulting in last-minute "dashes" that can go on for months. I don't think half of the people in charge have ever shipped an app before, and it shows.

Advice to Management

Stop putting a spit shine on sub-par work for performance review purposes. Embrace a culture of challenging current practices rather than silencing voices of reason.
