Good place to work, but the pay is way below market
Lots of deep technical problems to solve and a supportive work environment (depending on your manager, of course).
The same pitfalls as any big corporation. The pay is way below market, and the process of getting a promotion is unnecessarily drawn out and deeply political. CapOne believes they're a tech company, but they're really a bank with a tech arm. No one at the manager level or above has any concept of what the situation is actually like on the ground, and the decisions made are often in the opposite of the best interests of the engineering department.
Increase salaries for experienced engineers by 30% and watch your retention rate skyrocket.

Normal powerday interview. It was pretty easy. Normal OOP technical with a banking question. The case interview was a little harder. Behavioral was normal. Focus on OOP concepts. All interviewers were really nice and helpful.
