There's a lot of internal politics. This company is riddled with bad people managers, many of them former technical staff, particularly in the IT department. The performance management process is vicious and is often used for exacting revenge by these managers. This company comes under a spell from time to time when senior employees get fired almost randomly.
Wake up! Otherwise, a few bad apples will destroy the full cart of apples.
