The interview process included:
- Phone screen with a recruiter
- Zoom video call with an engineer
- Take-home coding assessment
- Virtual on-site with engineers and management
The process overall was quite reasonable. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and supportive. The coding steps were a nice change of pace from the typical LeetCode questions that everyone memorizes and don't actually test knowledge.
I also had a good understanding of what I would be working on if I joined after speaking with the hiring managers.
Questions
Language proficiency, prior large-scale software projects, and familiarity with certain frameworks, CI tools, etc.

The Carta gives access to many company facilities, including family planning benefits, such as fertilization and egg freezing.
Depending on your team, you may have a better or worse work-life balance, but the company always prioritizes employees' quality of life, offering practically unlimited days off for illness and personal issues.
Cons: The company has constant reorgs, where they change team configurations, which is complicated for maintaining long-lasting projects that have a greater impact, also frequently changing team focus.
Depending on the team you are in, the culture changes, and you may also not have in-person contact with any of your teammates.
The company's CEO constantly causes public relations problems and takes actions that impact a negative view of the company in the press.
