Carta Engineering has the interview process completely dialed in. This process follows most engineering org standards, except for the initial screening.
This involves a take-home assignment instead of the usual 60-minute coding assessment, which allows for a much better discussion of your coding skills.
The order of interviews is as follows:
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Take-home discussion
- Architecture and design
- Working with product
I don't typically like dealing with recruiters, but she was very persistent, professional, and knowledgeable of the product, and great to work with.
Overall 5/5, would do it again.
