Three rounds:
Round 1 - C Development:
- Write a function to swap two strings using pointers.
- How does CRC work?
- How to identify a packet from one end to the other end - use unique IDs.
Round 2 - Unix/Linux:
- Check if a system is Unix or Linux - answer: uname.
- Find files.
- Command to check processes.
- Vi questions.
Round 3 - Networking Concepts:
- IP Packet Structure.
- Ethernet fundamentals.
- How does IP Multicast work? Explain PIM & IGMP.
- IP Address & MAC Address over a router & switched network - what changes?
