Process
Stage 1: Implement a simple end-to-end service using Spring Boot, REST API, and JPA. This task includes testing and has a time limit of 3 hours.
Stage 2: Review the solution from Stage 1. This stage involves pair programming and was considered quite easy to resolve.
Generally, both Stage 1 and Stage 2 felt like a waste of time.
For Stage 1, no review was conducted. The only feedback was a general question about how the participant felt.
Pair programming, while technically a review, was unproductive. The person who created the PR was very introverted. Any question asked resulted in the answer, "Do as you want."
