Pros: It's a job, and many of the jobs stayed the same, at least initially after the buyout.
Cons: Cisco requires a degree of cultural conformity across sites around the world, even when it is not compatible with local norms (e.g., scheduling of annual shutdowns). They also shut down several projects and cut salaries.
