Process
Hiring at Cisco was a smooth process, taking about two weeks from the interview to the offer letter. The HR representative and the Engineering Manager were very proactive in following up and ensuring the candidate could start as quickly as possible. The interview process was quite good and lasted for three and a half hours, involving discussions with five people and a grueling technical interview.
Questions
Technically, there were some difficult questions, but it was food for thought. I gave my best shot.

Pros: 1. They are into every area of networking. It's a good place to learn about networking.
2. You can move between internal organizations easily.
3. They have a decent work-life balance, although sometimes it gets pretty hectic.
Cons: 1. In some groups, too many processes cause delays.
2. Promotions are not consistent across groups. It depends on the group one is in. Faster-growing teams are compensated well.

Pros: Benefits include 20 days of PTO, a good 401K match, and an ESPP. There is a wide variety of work and exposure to many different technologies. The experience gained is favorably viewed outside the company, and there is a good work-life balance.
Cons: Slow and too much red tape in what they do.
Not enough emphasis on keeping employees happy.
Trying to do too many things until recently.
Not "cool" enough for some! :)

Pros: Lots of chances for internal moves to diversify your portfolio and for those who don't like to stay in the comfort zone.
Employees do not hesitate to share information and help others when needed.
Cons: Some compensation and benefits have been eliminated for first-level employees who do the grunt work, but still exist for management.
Management is inexperienced and, in some cases, uses a brute-force approach to get work delivered. This translates into no life/work balance for extended periods in some cases.
