Good management and coworkers
Software Engineer • Former Employee
San Jose, California, United States
November 28, 2012
Pros: Very good, helpful culture within the group. People were always ready to help; good mentorship was provided to newcomers. Management had good communication and was empathetic to employee needs. Being a large company, there was much scope for moving between positions and divisions.
Cons: Some of the legacy systems just need maintenance and some bells and whistles development. Not much creativity and growth is possible. Maybe the restructuring has improved things.
