Company really cares
This company has been around a while and really cares about its employees. I've had a few family emergencies come up over my five years working here, and the company went above and beyond to take care of me and my family.
Like any big corporation, there are a lot of politics to negotiate if you want to get anything done internally.
It would help if upper management did more to break down the entrenched political silos.
