I certainly understand the company's efforts to re-invent itself and focus on Security and Cloud, but why do you overlook the talent you already have? Rather than lay off experienced and knowledgeable talent every year, why don't you work to retrain the people that got you where you are? Your people are able to twist existing products into new designs and applications; perhaps they could do it with their careers as well if given an opportunity.
