Pros

Getting a paycheck is the only reason to work for Cisco.

Cons
  • Limited restructuring every quarter that's not based on merit but rather if your manager likes you.
  • A select few get rewarded.
  • The majority of new technical leaders aren't technical. They schedule meetings with engineers who do the work. After that, they present to managers and get the credit for showing leadership.
Advice to Management

A culture of "limited restructuring" demonstrates the company doesn't value its employees and is an example that the company is not honest with its own employees.
