Lot of resources and trainings are available to learn. Sort of OK work-to-personal-life balance. For persons interested in growing on the networking side, it is a great opportunity to work at Cisco. Detailed design documents will be available in EDCS for many products.
To get promotions, a long time of waiting is needed. Interacting with another group is most of the time difficult, as each group behaves as a company. Base salary is less, and a lot depends on performance, which is given as a bonus or performance incentive.
