The best thing about Cisco is the work culture and the people.
I joined this company as a fresher and really enjoyed all the learning. Everyone, from a teammate to the director and VP, is approachable and open to suggestions and discussions.
Additionally, if you are working on some of the relatively new products like UCS, it is a great opportunity for learning new technologies.
Cisco is a huge company, and thus has all the cons associated with a mammoth company. The development cycles are long, and it takes time to fix things because there is a development ideology being followed for a product, which might have become stale for the current requirements.
More aggressive execution of rather good plans.
