Freedom and responsibility - I was given complete ownership of my component, and I could make design and other related decision changes. Many times, with the help of my colleague, I would rework things from scratch. Of course, I was also responsible for all the bugs in this area, even if I had not coded the early part.
Flexible working options – There were no fixed timings to come and go. I was given a laptop from day 1, so I could work from home whenever needed. Thus, I could easily attend meetings that happened late at night during US times.
Pay was below industry average.
Pay at a level equal to Microsoft or Google.
