Good work-life balance, but too many fools running the show

- You'll get to interact with hardware and see how your software runs, apart from just writing it.
- New opportunities in the areas of Cloud Computing, SDN, and IoT.
- Depending on the team, after a few months, everything gets slack and you'll hit the career saturation point.
- Lots of old people; old ways of doing things.
- Layoffs/re-orgs almost always trickle down to engineers. Managers/directors/VPs hardly get laid off, even though they are dumb and lack vision.
- Bureaucracy.
- Too many fools running the show.
Too many dumb VPs, Directors, and Managers compared to engineers, who do the real work. Please clean the leadership and make the workplace better.
