Pros

Lots of chances for internal moves to diversify your portfolio and for those who don't like to stay in the comfort zone.

Employees do not hesitate to share information and help others when needed.

Cons

Some compensation and benefits have been eliminated for first-level employees who do the grunt work, but still exist for management.

Management is inexperienced and, in some cases, uses a brute-force approach to get work delivered. This translates into no life/work balance for extended periods in some cases.

Advice to Management

Include all employees to some degree in profit sharing. This will pay back in the long run. Also, revisit the model for internal moves.
