If you are sincere, hardworking, and ambitious (wanting a return for your hard work), then Cisco bureaucracy will kill you. You will be defeated again and again.
Lots of politics. Management just wants to use employees to earn hefty returns. There are so many useless management positions.
Fill the gap between management and employees' compensation.
Remove all second-line managers.
Remove all PMs.
Be transparent with employees about the compensation policy.
