The online assessment is pretty standard across the industry; however, the one Cisco sent was absolutely horrendous. For some reason, they decided they wanted to make their own user interface instead of using established organizations like HackerRank

The interview was on the phone. The interviewer asked a number of questions about projects I took part in, as well as a number of technical questions about processes, threads, and data structures.
