Full Stack Software Engineer Interview Experience

Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks.

I received a call from an HR Recruiter, had a half-hour phone call with them, then a technical pair programming test with an engineer, and then was asked to do a take-home coding test over the next five days, which would be reviewed in a session with an engineering manager. I spent 16+ hours on the coding test, and submitted it after three days. A few days after submitting my code, I was informed that they were going with other candidates, without any feedback or review of my take-home coding test, despite a request for any notes.

Questions

Take-home coding test - Design and implement a notification system in typescript/react.
